As I was inspecting a house, I noticed the lady of the house
turning through various pages of her Bible while seated at her dining table. I asked her what she was studying and she
replied that she was trying to get to know God better. As we concluded our business, I asked if I
could give her a study Bible. She accepted
it. I said that God knew her desires for
knowledge and saw her studying his Word.
I said that I believed he wanted to provide a resource for her to know
him better. The look on her face was one
of awe that God had his eye on her. Just
like for the Samaritan woman, the Lord provides “Living Water” from his word.
